The BATTERIES2020 Consortium hold its second Internal technical Workshop between the 7th and 9th of October 2014 in ABENGOA RESEARCH facilities, Seville. The workshop was largely attended by all project partners.
Day one was mainly focused on the project´s strategic management. It was dedicated to brainstorming on how the project should address exploitation opportunities as well as to discussing a detailed risk management analysis per work package as part of the Exploitation Strategy Seminar provided by an Innovation expert. As a result of the interactive seminar, a first draft of the exploitation and dissemination plan for the project was defined.
The main objective of the second and third days, which included the Joint Plenary Technical Committee meeting (TC), the Steering Committee meeting (SC) and its Exploitation and Dissemination Management Committee meeting (EDC), was to review the current status of the project and to take decisions in order to plan the next 6 months. The key topics discussed in the plenary were: (i) the statistical analysis of the data obtained from the beginning of life characterization tests carried out by different partners and (ii) the status of G2 cell development towards the successful delivery milestone. Parallel activities within the different work packages, results to date and next steps were also described by all work package leaders.
